In my opinion it's one of the best of a very bad lot of tools I have found to teach Mandarin. What's exasperating about this series is how much time they waste out of the quick 30 minutes with random shots and piano playing with no speaking. WAY TOO MUCH PIANO PLAYING. Also, too much English speaking. Why recommend a video for someone 1 yr. old and then narrate so much in English. Kids can figure it out! Not sure they have a clue, or maybe they just want to keep production costs at a minimum.

Maybe they want to teach the kids how to speak first and then teach them the characters.
