FF9PGWSF Part 72 - Daguerreo

This video got deleted for some reason, so this is just me re-uploading it. It's the same video as it was.

Moogle Letter: Delivered a letter from Mogki to Kumool "Where Is Mognet Central?"

The only missable items in Daguerreo are the ones to be bought. After I fix the lift, here is the shopping I did:
Sell: 99 Cotton Robes
Buy: 7 Zorlin Shapes, 2 Rune Blades, 2 Obelisks, 2 Tiger Fangs, 1 Venetia Shield, 1 Diamond Helm, 3 Diamond Armors

Missable Items:
1. Zorlin Shape: Zidane + Masamune (1) + Sargatanas (1) + Thief Gloves (2) + Inventory (4) - 1 Thief Gloves (Auction) - 1 (Earlier Purchase) = 7 to buy.
2. Rune Blade: Steiner + Inventory
3. Obelisk: Freya + Inventory
4. Tiger Fangs: Amarant + Inventory
5. Diamond Armor: Knights (2) + Inventory

The guide doesn't say to buy a Diamond Helm. When I last did this challenge, I had a problem with attacks missing with the last several boss battles. I had Zidane and Steiner learn Accuracy+, which pretty much solves that problem. However, since the only way I currently have for Freya to learn it is with a Lapis Lazuli, I don't really have enough time to teach her everything I want to, so I buy the Diamond Helm so I can teach her Accuracy+.

After the initial scenes in Ipsen's Castle and putting Freya in the party, I make equipment changes:
Zidane: Mythril Dagger, Bandana, N-Kai Armlet, Survival Vest, Feather Boots
Bandit

Steiner: Flame Sword, Barbut, Thunder Gloves, Diamond Armor, Coral Ring
Add Status, Ability Up

Freya: Javelin, Mythril Helm, Diamond Gloves, Diamond Armor, Reflect Ring
Ability Up

Quina: Silver Fork, Black Hood, Magic Armlet, Magician Cloak, Yellow Scarf
Ability Up, Millionaire

Most of this is for AP efficiency. Steiner will be able to inflict Heat, which will make quick work of the upcoming boss. The only mistake I made is not activating Ability Up for Zidane, which is easily fixed in the next video.

The video was deleted, but the page the video was on was not, so I just copy and pasted.

I'm currently doing a few things. I'm currently trying to get the gil together to max out the inventory. You have no idea how tiresome that is, we're talking about over 8 million gil. I also just started working on a perfect game speedrun, to see just how fast this all can be done, and if it can be done for PAL players. It's still experimental right now, I might put of videos of that, not sure.

You'd be surprised how damn slow the PAL version runs, i currently own it. The only way i believe it would be possible would be if you had no encounters in the entire game, and make sure you don't waste even fractions of seconds. So yeah, it just may be barely possible, but you'd probably go crazy if you tried :P
