Goju-Kai Freestyle 1997

Here is a quick bit of dojo sparring -- jiyu kumite -- at the Sonoma County, CA chapter of Goju-Kai USA back in 1997. It was not a special occasion, just a day when a camera happened to be available, and is not to be taken as a "best effort" on the part of either player. This is offered simply to provide a glimpse of the type of dojo sparring done within the organization.

The venue was actually a chicken coop that had been converted, decades earlier, into a dojo. We were lucky the place didn't fall down!
