The problem with the IPO is it means getting lawyers involved in good ideas, which inevitably leads to people suing 12 year old kids or stifling innovation through patent deadlock. Imagine all the things never invented through IP fear that one day MS/IBM/GE/GM will come and take it all away. When I invent, I do it alone, share it with mates. Don't trust a lawyer further than you can pick him up and throw him.
