Coming out, Feeling Alone

Something came over me and i started feeling miserable as i came to the realization of how secluded & alone i really was. It sucks not having friends to which you feel comfortable to confide in. I truly wish i knew more people and had more friends.

I have watched your trio of coming out videos out of sequence (ep2 ,3 and then this one). I really feel like you're talking about me and expressing what I'm feeling, about 90%. I don't have friends, I've isolated myself that much.

So how is life treating you in 2011, when I first found your videos?

Don't worry. I went through a similar situation after i came out. It will get easier and you'll get more comfortable with it. Soon enough, you'll find someone who makes you truely happy.

No one wants to be rejected. No matter what anyone feels their "secret" is until they start giving people a chance to reject them; they will never be able to accept them. Since it has been a year since you posted this I hope you have found some direction.

This post is just so much like how feel. Feeling isolated and not really having many people to talk to it about. It is hard being stuck in the middle. Not being part of the straight community, and then by not being out your not part of the gay community yet so you don't know who to talk too. You start thinking why come out to your straight friends when they don't really understand what you've been going through. The fear of people not liking u for being yourself can be paralizing.

Wow, this post makes me cry. I want to reach through the screen and hug you. But watching your more recent videos, makes me smile. I understand what you mean here about isolating yourself. Isolation can sometimes be your freedom. I would say to my self, why come out, who is there to come out to? When you are between worlds, not totally in the gay world, not in the str8 world, what world is there in the middle to come out to? I know that feeling.
