It all seems so easy when I watch this video... then I go to the pool and suddenly I can't get to do it correctly:/ I just hope that it's all about practice and patience.. and not me being unable to do it properly:)

@goswim098 thanks for the tip .. i have watched a few other vids on here about fly and one particular about timing of second kick .. i'm wondering if my second kick comes at a different time with 2 arms than with one .. will be in the water again soon to check it out .. thanks !

i have a great one armed fly and great dolphin kick on my back .. just cant seem to get the same momentum or easy feel to the stroke on my front with double arm .. any suggestions ? thanks

@triathleteuk - You may have hit on the key word yourself... momentum. Obviously the goal is to get it for the entire swim, or length... but to start feeling like a butterflier, push off the wall with a good streamline, and while you're still moving well, take a stroke or two of butterfly. Use the momentum from the push to show you that feel you're looking for. It's just an idea mainly because I know I always feel MUCH better at the start of a length of fly... than I do at the end. ;)
