For just a minute, forget about slalom speeds and skid pad Gs. Forget about track testing and torque, forget about overhead cams and final-drive ratios and focus on what an SUV like the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe is really supposed to deliver. Its true test is in how it handles the rigors of weekly shopping trips, bar mitzvahs, birthdays, daily commutes and the occasional trip to Grandma's house.

  • I'm so glad I got off the Jeep tip and went with the Hyundai. Their whole LINE UP is nice, elegant, luxurious and affordable.

  • I agree totally. My mom has an XG350, and i did notice that the ride in her car is a lot smoother than the one in my Santa Fe. But it's totally forgiveable. Nothing is as rocky are bumpy as the Jeep Commander. I feel secure in my Santa Fe. Surprisingly it sits as high as a large SUV, but drives very much like a car. The Commander left no ability to feel secure. The whole ride had me paranoid of either having an accident and/or flying out of the seats.

  • any1 else see the santa fe train? haha

  • This car gets really impressive fuel economy. My friend has one and he gets 26 MPG.

  • this suv it's perfect economy power, space safety luxury and good looking exterior and interior , but it has one problem the elctronic gearbox when it'[s used as shift tronic it's to slow skips the gears and dont let you go down gear too, still I love it :)

  • this is the car of my dreams,I think Koreans are very innovative.

  • well i cant tell you for sure, because ive dealt with this only once, and they stated it was his fault, but common sense would say that you should be almost always right, unless you are parked or standing still someplace you shouldnt be, but otherwise, you did nothing to provoke the accident, youre not moving, so you should be right, but like i said, thats just a common sense opinion, i cant tell you how it would officially work

  • One off topic question, but is it true that if you get rear-ended, you're always right?

  • You can treat Corolla like shit and it'll keep going just fine.

  • I have a 06 Santa Fe is great it has only 33500 mi on it. the only bad thing is when you put it in sport mod it skip gears. so dont think its crap because its Korean. I like the 10year 100,000 mi woranty.

  • what a childish person you are theres a car out there for everyone all diff ppl out there with diff needs mabe you should try some off road fun and fishing or tthink about the fact that theres all diff ppl out and a car for everyone
