Murli deserved to win the world cup, as much as Tendulkar did...Hell he broke every record he possibly could, like tendulkar....But, he already won...Hence it was Tendulkars turn.

I am so happy for Sachin that India won the worldcup. Would it be a good idea if India played a series in Pakistan as goodbye match for Sachin Tendulkar. That give him also the chance to get his 100 centuries. And for the people that ask why in Pakistan? That is where he played his first match for India at the age of 16.

i would rather have tendulkar retire now and not play the 2015 world cup...if he is going on to play,i suggest that he must then definetly play the 2015 wc..if not an opportunity to groom another youngster would be wasted.
