Totally agree with these guys about Reality TV. It sucks! I want to be a writer for television, but because of the huge influx of Reality TV it is going to be even harder for me and other people interested in tv production to get jobs. Reality TV is a wasteland for creativity. It also prevents good actors like James and Michael from getting more work. I'd rather see their cute faces on my tv then some "reality tv" star.

NathanielDayspring Gong show is before your time kido. it's a show where you do a act or sing.. if they judges dont like they hit big chime going gong.. its like in the 50's u do a bad act. they grab a cane on you and hall u off

Have you watched X-files or Supernatural? Burn Notice on USA is really good and so is the Terminator TV Series? I love Scifi, b/c I see it as a metaphor for life and all of its trials. Burn Notice isn't Scifi but it's really really good. Bruce Campbell described it as "Highway to Heaven meets carnage and mayhem." There are some good shows but it is getting worse. If you don't mind me asking what was "gong show" about? Sounds erotic, lol.

NathanielDayspring We didnt have reality shows back in our days.. shoes now they recycling shows from what we watch. like happy days, gong show, sha na na, sandford and all in the family.. gomyer pyle.. im stuck in the past, 50 through the 80;s is the best.. today era went belly up

Damn straight, even some of the regular t.v shows are reflecting mtv and reality tv. For example I can't stand Gossip Girl or Lost. They remind me too much of mtv and Survivor crap.
