jimmy trombone havin a rough time, they continue to sound like a cover band of the great 70's band CHICAGO
-
And don't forget a band so good they named a state after them...Kansas.
OR...
A band so good they named a continent after them...Europe and Asia.

I really miss the voice of Terry Kath and Peter Cetera. I saw them in concert with Earth Wind and FIre. Free and Does Anybody Know What Time Is sounded great wtih the strong background vocals and added horns.

I've been looking for "Beginnings" on youtube! Thanks for posting!

Danny Seraphine and Peter Cetera's departure yanked the heart out this band. The trombone solo sounds like a rabid elephant.

The video is not in-sync with the audio. And what is up with James Pankow's bone solo? They're a great band but I guess anyone can have a bad night.

the first 4 or 5 releases then the decline

Where's Peter Cetera when you need him
Thanks for posting!! Sounds like a real rogh night for Pankow. Although his style is kind of splatty, he really is a good musician. I would hate to be measured by one performance.

This reminded me of that episode of Seinfeld where the guy did a major honk job on his sax solo after messing up his lips on Elaine's uh...lips. When Pankow got to his bone solo, I just howled. He must've just gotten back from the dentist. But this is certainly a case where you don't wanna judge a guy by his worse day. Imagine putting a band together as talented as the *original* Chicago. Amazing.
