They all had heavy french accents that messed up their pronunciation making it difficult to understand their english. They would let you know they didn't understand you in France(even if they did, but your pronunciation was wrong)

Damn the french have a gorgeous language! i took a year in french so i kno a little bit more than my family but wat i learned rolls off the tongue easier than english
