  • is it true that if you use a PL Lense on a 5D Mark ii you will see the lense through the full frame. I have been told that the full frame of a still image camera is bigger thant a moving image camera, therefore is better to use a 7D with this type of lense than the 5D

  • @mougabo Coverage of sensor/film depends on lens and FFD of camera. Suggest you do some research and studying before naively accepting benighted advice.

Large/medium photography lenses and major cinematic lenses originated in covering film/sensors that are much larger than full frame. PL (Precision Lock) is a mounting plate, that lenses, no matter origin, may affix to. Think of it, lenses that covers IMAX 70mm ?

  • @sweetclassickix Yes, this PL to EF adapter will secure your lens to the C300. However, you need to do a manual test on your lens first and see if you like the result. Please check out the "Manual Lens Testing" video to see a demonstration. More information available at KCWtechnica (dot) com

    Thanks
