  • hi im about to be a junior in highschool, i currently signed up for a class in automotive tech. introduction to automotive service, ive always loved cars and i want to spend the rest of my life working on them and racing them, my only problem is i have almost no experience working on cars, do you recommend me to take more than just one class of automotive tech during the summer or what classes do you recommend( i want to focus on the engine)

  • What school did you go to? when you say " they were joking around..." i know exactly what you're talking about.

  • I just wanted to comment saying I'm currently enrolled in a 2 year auto tech program and am working at National Tire Battery. I also have my inspection and emission licenses at age 18 and do occasional inspections at work. School has taught me a lot, the biggest chunk of which is electronics. Nearly all the hands on we do has to do with electrical troubleshooting and I've found it very very helpful to have a solid understanding of these systems.

  • I dont know yet Les because i havent started school yet. but i start school on feb.1, so ill give you an update when i find out.
