@tedmsxu You are dead wrong. Look at Kuwait. She was invaded by Iraq in 1990 because she is small and rich. Small country like us do need advance weapons so that who ever thought of invading us have to pay a heavy price.
Arming with advance weapons will also deterred potential adversary from making an attempt to attack us.

@typhoonq @khmerog1 to say malaysia and singapore is inexperience, i think that's not really correct. because both countries went for various military exercise, particularly with US, Australia and so on. both countries have a good reputation in the navy.
malaysia have experiences much in jungle warfare, fighting with the communists and so on. with experienced SF, stuff. so to say both countries is not good, is incorrect though. there's more of them we dont know actually.
