Glad to hear you're willing to try and contribute and I agree about Cowell but to be honest Itv was always crap gameshows and Channel 4 has killed off the big brother so the bbc should be getting back to what's good and hell if trinity productions are already producing quality stuff for youtube, where's the cost in giving series chances.

As for your views on the Beeb, i'm on the same page but its not just the bbc its itv too. Simon Cowell style tv is king i'm afraid 'cos its cheap to make & appeals to the lowest common denominator:)
