This is a comment on the claims that science has established a natural propensity to a god in the human brain. I also show what the result is for people like DawahFilms, who don't look for background information or don't take a critical look at something which satisfies their immediate and superficial requirements. such as a headline. So they see the title of a paper which mentions science and something that would fit into their agenda and they take it on board without any checks.

  • Interesting video. Dump the awful music, its really not needed.

  • @NZOrbital

Well, it's undecided on the musical background. I like it. As I am talking about superstition it is fitting - I think.

But as long as people are disagreeing with my taste in music and not the message itself I am a happy chappie.

  • PART 2

Even today, popular science is often presented to the public in terms of stories, rather than data - something derided by scientists as "Disney-fication". My limited experience with children tells me they are more prone to all this than adults. They are prone to magical thinking like the moon is following them. Notwithstanding, presenting this as evidence of a particular religion like Islam is pushing it.

  • @Templetonq

} "almost all of our history we have relied on mythology"

    Isn't it time to change?

} "science is often presented to the public in terms of stories"

Sure, but as I pointed out here we are dealing with scientific proof and the scientific method, which is n longer a children's story - as much as religious adults would like it that way.

Both points not really requiring special attention - but I replied anyway.

  • @DawahFilms Allah was created by humans, my friend. Not the other way around.

  • @StopSpamming1

    Nice reasearch.

No, DawahFilms has no idea how to track down scientific papers or has any familiarity of the philosophy of science. He also doesn't know Observer-expectancy effect or beliefs in biases when I talked with him. He's not worth debating in my book, he prefers to accuse his opponents rather than showing some introspection.

  • @Targonit there is a section that says basically children from the age of 4 will generally believe as I said that inanimate or un-living or objects that were not designed depending on your believe have a dispossession to believe they have a propose like one kid was asked does the river not seem to be still because it has little or no water running though it or is it so that animals could wash them self's without being washed away.

and the children mostly voted on the without getting washed away

  • @Etheoma

I think I know the video. Is it about schools where kids get indoctrinated or kids developing a sense for a god if left alone? Is it about kids answering with intuitive, purpose driven suggestions but never a god?

  • @Etheoma

Interesting. Yes, please send it to me. But are we talking about kids creating imaginary friends and magic or an entity with the attributes of a god?

  • I'm an atheist but I do have to poke some holes in there even though that study is obviously BS there have been proper studies on children with controls etc etc and they still attribute inanimate or unlifing objects with having a deign or intention if i can find a clip of a documentary made by Richard Dawkins ill try and send it to you in a message. because you cant send links in a comment...

  • "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

    ~ Albert Einstein

The sad, scary fact is that stupidity has shown itself to be a 'winner', over and over again. Sharia is coming to a town near you, soon!

  • Every video responding to Dawahfilms video could be pressed into one sentence:

"Learn the scientific principle "burden of proof"!"
