Really FSX game engine in about 10 years old with only tweaks from the 98 engine. Meaning the use of the GPU is ONLY for sharders 2.0 or 3.0 and prossessing of DX9 or DX10 code OR binary to turn Ones and Zeros from that into a graphical picture. Meaning FS is mainly all CPU. FSX can take the biggest CPU on market still and give then hard times running. If you are running a high 8 OR 9 series Nvidia you are fine. If your CPU is lower then 3GHz you will always run bad. I'm a 4.2GHz. from 3.2GHz.
