  • Hey nice car man. I'm running the Perf RPM cam and intake im my 455 with 6x-8 heads and a th400 tranny. just wondering what Stall converter are you running and rear end gear ratio to run 12's. Thanx

  • @augustoescobar50 It has 3.55 gears and a 3,000 rpm stall, but you can probably go with a 2,800 stall. Also ran the 12.8 on Mickey Thompson ET streets. I am not sure what your heads are like but I can tell you that I ran the same cam and intake you have for a long time before I bought the Performer RPM heads to go with it and when I bolted those heads on my engine woke up big time. The cam is designed to work perfectly with the heads so I recommend them for sure, the best buy I had for my GTO.

  • The last dyno I did came out to around 320hp to the wheels. The catalog for the Edelbrock performer RPM power package it has claims to make 422hp and I think that must be the fly wheel hp, but the car seems to scoot along very well for only 320hp. Thanks for watching

  • Fuck, what is an AT doing in a car like this? This is a car for banging gears! I'll never forget my dad's 66 goat... Not the best off the line but it absolutely mutiltated camaros and mustangs hitting the gas hard already moving.

  • This goat is not bad off the line, Runs a 12.8 in the 1/4 mile but I do wish I had a manual tranny.

  • I have the same power package in my Pontiac Firebird, The best I've gotten in the 1/4 was 12.5 @ 1.799 60 ft on crappy street tires but they hooked and booked on a freshly prepped track. I Run consistent 12.9's @ 109 while spinning a bit though. I figured you'd get more rwhp off the dyno. But I agree, for only having so much horsepower, it scoots good. I just wish I could get some proper tires and a good clean 3K stall launch and see what it can do, I would imagine mid to low 12's. I've got3.23s

  • @anderson451 this one likely has a 400 cubic engine V8. Try about 425 hp.

  • Damn she looks good in red

  • very nice!!!!

  • nice car

  • Cool car, though, bro.

  • how much hp
