@Mattyboyrocks23 kung fu is a term meaning "art" wushu is a term meanin chinese martial arts, and shaolin martial art is a term that describes martial arts deriving from the shaolin monastery.....know your shit.

@californiablitzer Actually Kung Fu just means skill. Not martial arts. Wushu is the term you're looking for, but that's still an umbrella term for ALL martial arts. (It literally means martial arts). So you should say Shaolin or Shaolin Kung Fu

All the Katas seem to not be present during sparring except other than instictive kicks and punches like kick boxing. Thats any striking art.

@mrthebillman it's just breathing, if you exhale sharply you will be able to strike more sharply. just like if you do the same throwing a ball for example
