"Sever the ties"
I wrote this in District Six Capetown, South Africa.
District Six is the name of a former inner-city residential area in Cape Town, South Africa. It is best known for the forced removal of over 60,000 of its inhabitants during the 1970s by the apartheid regime....I have the distinct blessing of working with "Face to Face / Faith to Faith" an organization that brings together teens from areas of conflict and different faith traditions to find their reflection in one another through dialogue, conflict resolution and the arts...you'll see some of their beautiful faces in this video.
