THE ELECTRIC COMPANY-TILT! (AUDIO ONLY)

Here it is, this is undoubtedly one of my favorite and most remembered Short Circus songs from the last two seasons of THE ELECTRIC COMPANY, sung by the line up of Janina Mathews, Rodney Lewis, Rejane Magloire, Todd Graff and June Angela as they are dancing inside a large pinball machine. Unfortunately, this is only a slide show consisting of two photo shots of the musical number but I was able to edit to make it more animated and colorful. The music director was Dave Conner.

Can you give me the names of all the kids, who were they played by? For a long time, I thought one of them was Michael J Fox, but it turned out it wasn't. I liked the asian girl and the other tall girl.

I can't remember exactly, but it seems like this was maybe the greatest June Angela dance sequence in my memory, if I remember correctly. Would be great to see the original video, although it's still great to just hear the audio.

The funny thing is, at this age, are kids really going to be able to understand what the words are about?

(Hey, I'm 39, and I just listened to this for the first time since I was about 9 or 10, and I finally understand what the words are refering to. I never looked at it like.....shall I say.... a "G-Rated" love song. I never had any clue when I was 4 or 5 or 6 years old watching this what they were singing about.)

When I was in second grade. we were watching this, and we had a fire drill during while this is playing. When the refrain starts the three blasts sounded exactly like the fire alarm. She was confused, it was funny, she figured it out.

32 years later I still have the urge to jump around and get hyper like I did every time this song would appear on that show. This song is in my playlist.
