Milling, boring & facing attachment

Milling, boring & facing operations can be done by this attachment. Mount it on a planing machine with a suitable table feed system; it can do heavy duty Plano milling operation. Milling head is mounted on a vertical slide and this slide unit helps for setting the depth of cut setting. The same mechanism can be used for a boring operation, through a single point cutting. The facing unit is mounted on the milling head through a drive arbor. The facing unit has a self-feeding cross feed axis movement, with which facing operation can be done through a single point tool. The entire unit can be mounted on a planing machine and the machine can be used as a Plano milling machine and also as a Boring & Facing machine. Large jobs which have small bores and small facing diameters can be done in this converted machine very fast and at a very low investment.
