First of all, you street preachers have been lied to. Catholics do not worship Mary. There was a group of nuns a couple years ago that got excommunicated for doing just that. Mary worship is a grave sin, even according to the Catholic Church. Neither do Catholics worship saints. Catholics only ask Mary and the saints to pray for them. According to Mark 12:26-27, God is the god of the living, not the dead, and neither Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob are dead, even though they died in the flesh.

Being a Catholic is not enough to get you to heaven, neither is being another Christen denomination. You must put the word of the bible to work, you must use the word of the Holy Spirit to guild you to a holy life in heaven. Also, Catholics do read the bible, as a matter of fact your whole New Testament was made and put together from the original Jewish word by priests, bishops, and the pope. Your Old Testament is missing books that tell us that faith alone is not enough to get you into heaven.

Catholics believe that Jesus Christ is the Risen Lord and the Only Begotten Son of God, Who was crucified on the cross for our sins and raised from the dead on the 3rd day by God Almighty through the power of the Holy Spirit. So YES, Catholics are going to Heaven.
