Why do you have webs between your fingers and toes? Gibberish! We were never mermaids. I agree. We were humans, evolving to find food in the water at the beach. Where is your proof? You are almost hairless, with lots of hair on your head. You can squint and cry salt tears. You have webbed fingers. You can swim instinctively at birth. You love to go to the beach. You have a big butt and an aquatic nose. You can stand on two legs.

we also benefit from the high mineral concentrations in seaweeds. very rejuvinating.
we cannot convert ALA Omega-3 readily into DHA types used by the brain and cell tissues. the body is inefficient at it.
we can conceivably et a good balance of DHA/EPA omega-3 from the meat of grass-fed ruminants.
it is far easier however for us to have settled by the seashore and eaten seafood casually, than to have to hunt for one's food continuously in grasslands.
humans' advantage is usually efficiency.
