@vlad007001 Kane isn't human. He's technically part of Scrin cause in the last game (which sucked monkey balls :P) he ascended through the Scrin portal at the end. Plus it would have been good for the Brotherhood cause they had Tiberium protective armor and they were at the beginning of developing new Tiberium infusion for their bodies. :D

From what I can tell, they are one man fighting vehicles. Kinda like suits of armour with guns I assume. I know the cinematic with the X-0 (the predecessorto the Wolverine) showed a view from inside the cockpit which suggests it was manned.
