@thecheesburgler yes, but you need money to eat and if you don't have the scratch left over after eating, the compressor remains off.

hey scotty ,i have a 2003 chevy suburban 1500 5.3 i love this truck runs great i have a mysterious belt squeak/chirp have tried everything changed..tensioner pulleys, belts, crankshaft pulley, removed ac pulley to single out the chirp noise... was not the ac belt or the tensioner pulley i've come to the conclusion that it may be my power steering pump or pulley the reason i came to this conclusion was ..2 years ago the power steering pump went out i had it replaced all of a sudden this chirp came

Nice sounds off the bike, i think yestarday we did even better with mitsubishi canter diesel engine running with engine oil. :D We changed the whole engine but left original cooler full of oil. Well, it sounded prity amazing. Probably 10 000 rpm.

@tonezone23 I would replace the belt with a brand new gates, they are great belts. And if that doesn't do it, something it drives is doing it, like ps pump or water pump.

Hello Scotty, My mothers 2006 Nissan X-Trail is making some sort of squealing noise near the alternator. I am not sure if the belt needs lubrication or the alternator bearing is worn out. You're advice would me much appreciated. Thank-You.

@iBigTrain replace the belt first, that's it 99 percent of the time.
