Tudor Rock! I love this new genre!
-
@luc137 tull also recorded it in about 1979
-
Gryphon had already recorded this tune in their first album.
-
AQUA-LUNG ROCKED THE RENAISSANCE!!!
-
From the 16th century to the 21st and it's still beautiful. That Henry kept busy!
-

Company with honesty
Is virtue, and vice to flee.
Company is good or ill,
But every man hath his free will.
The best ensue,
The worst eschew.
My mind shall be
Virtue to use,
Vice to refuse,
Thus shall I use me.

That performance was so beautiful it blew my mind. The sweet tones and arpeggios of the violin were unbelievable. The flute was gorgeous. The whole ensemble worked together in a fantastic, fresh interpretation of Renaissance revelry.

Pastime in good company,
I love and shall unto I die.
Gruch whoso will, but none deny,
So God be pleased, thus live will I.
For my pastance,
hunt sing and dance.
My heart is set.
All goodly sport
For my comfort.
Who shall me let?
