You misunderstand. He was seen by several people killing. They ALWAYS call the guilty party "suspect". If you pay attention, even after convictions our media often refers to criminals as "alleged" committers of crimes they were found guilty of. It's part of our PC culture.

you are right..i have heard from others source's that he didnt actually kill the people...they calling him a suspect? dont you people see?.. some other soldiers didnt want to go to fight a fake war..they want mad, but this guy as the doctor at the base was trying to tell them to stop..the media is hiding the truth bcos they dont want people know that soldiers are figthing against this fake war are sending more people..blame the taliban looking dude scince the public will eat it up.

because the media often get inaccurate or incomplete information in the beginning of events like this. it's just chaos and confusion.
him being dead is a false report. being in a coma can also mean in a stable condition or perhaps he regained conscious and is now in a stable condition.

I'm going to be very curious to see how this trial goes. The clear guilt of Major Nidal aside, the court martial responsible for the case is going to have to handle this with kid gloves. Beyond the obvious murder charges, I think there's a case to be made for trying him for treason.
