Alexander Graham Bell (March 3, 1847-August 2, 1922) was a scientist, inventor, and innovator. Perhaps due to his family's association with the teaching of elocution—the study of formal speaking in pronunciation, grammar, style, and tone—Alexander Graham Bell had an infatuation with acoustics, the study of sound.
Referred to as "the father of the deaf," Bell found time to teach speech lessons at the Boston School for the Deaf. And despite challenges, his determination and innovative mind led to the world-changing invention of the telephone.

@kare3423 Originally from Scotland, then emigrated to Brantford, Ontario, which he bought a 10.5 acre property there. Learned to speak the Mowhawk Indian language. He barely did anything there. Then emigrated to Boston, Massachusetts (which he then became a professor at Boston University). Then he emigrated to Beinn Bhreagh, Nova Scotia which most of his inventions were... Invented. He liked Nova Scotia A LOT and decided to live there until he died of diabetes in 1922.
