Super Bomberman 2 - Battle Song #2 (MIDI)

A MIDI sequence of one of the three Battle tunes on Super Bomberman 2, which I did over four years ago now. Was pretty tricky, due to a lot of syncopated/rhythmic stuff going on.

Composed by Yasuhiko Fukuda (福田裕彦), who is sometimes known as Hirohiko Fukuda.

The music in that game is great. This is a good MIDI sequence, as well.

When you were transcribing this, did you mute the channels you weren't listening to, or did you listen to the whole thing at once?

A mixture of the two. I did mute SPC channels for this, but it wasn't massively helpful. It was hard to decipher when musical phrases actually started, as many started on offbeats. So it wasn't fool proof, and I often needed to listen to all the tracks together because of it.

Yeah, the game has great music. Fukada hasn't really done much other stuff though, which is a shame, as I'd like to hear more music by him. There's a couple of tracks on the game "Smart Ball" which sound kinda similar.
