Pleasure - Spread That Feelin' (Bass & Vocals)

I been toyin' 'round with playin' bass and vocals since a looong time (actually since I ever witnessed Larry Graham doin' his thang) but it's only recently I started feelin' confortable doin' it.

My dream band is me frontin' on bass, but if you frontin' a band, you gotta sing & rap to the people, or else it ain't happenin'.... And since I'm currently writin' my first solo album, shit better get happnin' !!

That's how I see this whole thing, but sometimes it sure can get your brain fried a coupla times !

I've always been fascinated with this very, very upliftin' track by Pleasure, so I felt that was a great thing to kick off the year. Nate Philips is absolutely murderous on this, as is the whole band. Really among the greatest funk music ever put to wax...
