This is the basic poi routine i'm showing to my family (who've never seen poi before) to convince them that they should give me money to buy better poi with, instead of getting me clothes!

  • @dominicb1991 Darn in! I'm stuck in the UK...Ah well. If I'm ever in AZ I'll look you up!! :)

  • @AoifeUnudottir These practices are at Reid Park on Fridays, from like 4:30 to sundown. By country club and 22nd. THis is all in Tucon of course. :P

  • @FlurryOfDestiny - I'm glad to hear it! Confidence is 99% of skill, and I'm pretty sure you've got that other 1%. Hope the talent and variety shows go well for you! :)

  • @AoifeUnudottir i feel i've grown farther then this routine now but thank you! maybe my next video will be better, this was for last years talent show and i'm in both the talent and variety show this year so let's hope i'm not as bad as this was.

  • where are these practices?? I'm looking for a new group to train with now my old one has broken up.

@FlurryofDestiny - your moves go together well, but I do agree with dominicb1991 that a lot of your routine is just standing or turning. I know obviously you're in your front room, but if you get a chance to practice in an open space, I'd really try to get some movement in. :) Hope this helps. Keep up the brilliant routines.

  • I suggest you learn how to dance with the poi more... You look like a rave poi person. Why? Well, because you have a crappy camera and you spend a lot of time standing still or turning. Otherwise, excellent poi work, you should come out to company practices so you can work on poi and I can see it in person. But you have convinced me it's time to get better poi
