Steve, Jeff & myself set up to crevice, pan and sluice the frozen Middle Fork of the Tuolumne River, in the Stanislaus National Forest, just West of Yosemite and East of Chinese Camp & Groveland. We found the ice, frozen ground and cold temps challenging, but still got some "color". It was Jeff's first ever gold prospecting trip out. He had a great time!
