  • the young boy, who tries to play a trumpet solo is most of the time outside of the hamronic structure.I think he doesn`t really no anything about changes and only tries to make fast and high noises!

  • Why is it all pro trumpet players get fat through their career? :(

  • Yes...that little porky was destroying the structure of the tune all the time, he want a fight with MR big Pole....C´mon kid, show some good manners.

  • Jon forgot music is about having fun! What a butthole! Mad skills but WHO DOES THAT!?? I hope someone reassured that kid that Jon's a little bit of a butthole!

  • Lol @ that kid who owns a trumpet at 5:10.....you can fool some of the people sometimes, but you can't fool all the people all the time.

  • Seriously, why is it that all these topline trumpet players end up with massive girths: Artuor, Dizzy (lesser extent), James morrison (though recently lost weight), Randy Brecker - like Faddis started out a slim guy. That's a genuine observation ... though probably there are many facets to the phenomena - life style / eating drinking habits / even Freddie had a belly.

  • I HATE that trumpet solo, not Jon's, the other guy, he places all kinds of effects, and when he plays runs it sounds like he is just moving his fingers up and down in no particular order, he despite what he thinks is not Arturo, wynton et al, he cannot be clean musical and amazing at the same time

  • Hi John..great that you did this ,,gig''....i can imagine how proud the guys were !!!

    They will never forget !!!

  • @jerec576 Lol, I'm not sure. But it seems to be a common thing.

  • nice attempt for their ages, but the instructor at the least had the power to make it more musical by chopping down the solos by like 4 friggin minutes! way,,,,,to much solo time! there isnt too much more to say after a minute in a half that hasnt already been said in your minute and a half!!

  • I can't really tell why Faddis did that...?

But I did meet Jon a few days ago, and to this kids credit, he is a little bit, uhm...abrasive? (A dick.)

  • Doc Severinsen seems not fat...
