@fbbluv... I do understand you but eskista in jeans and shirts is really not an improvement... you cant see how fast you are about to lose that wonderful culture and tradition.... we have kept it up for a long long time.... and by this video right here it is going to be lost... what is so sad...is that singers dont see that... I love hip hop.... but that doesnt match with Ethiopian culture and Ethiopian music in my opinion. Do you know what I mean?! Much love...MsJuliti
@MsJuliti music is an art that requires creativity, nobody born with masinko on his shoulder, you learn from the past add your bits pass on to future. our forefathers started with cow horn now modern saxophone, begena became base-guitar, etc. you have to be creative to keep up with fast moving high-tech internet era. all comes to demand and supply, if nobody likes hip-hop it will die. the same applies to our traditional dance and clothes, somebody started it improved generation after generation
It is such a wonderful song and I really love it but it is so sad that people try to combine our wonderful, old culture with the Hip Hop or RnB and so far American culture. Dancing in jeans and t-shirts in front of a house in Addis which is not finished, is really not an improvement of our culture. Our culture is the best if it stays traditional and humble as it always was. And that means in traditional clothes. Please dont try to be "cool" or "improved" by doing that coz it is simply disturbin
Haha
This is the new hip hop in addis now? It's cool though
