The advertiser-funded TV model is still viable but its best days are probably behind it, according to Mike Darcey, Chief Operating Officer at BSkyB. He believes stagnant revenues and increasing production costs will put pressure on content budgets at the same time that Pay TV will be spending more on content. Beyond HD and 3DTV the next big opportunity for Sky comes from broadband connectivity on set-top boxes, starting with a VOD service that will roll out soon. Produced by http://www.v-net.tv/
