The William & Mary Heritage Dancers performed "Scotch Cap" at a dance showcase on campus in the spring of 2008. This clip was filmed during a practice session, as our dancers worked on learning to do the dance from memory (no calling!)
The William & Mary Heritage Dancers is a student-led English Country Dance club at the College of William and Mary. We're always looking for new dancers - no partner or experience required! We meet weekly during the academic year; if you're a student at W&M, please come join us!

I just learned this dance tonight at my local SCA group's dance practise. Very fun, and nicely done by your group! :)

What a lovely job the six of you are doing. I can imagine being in a balcony and seeing the figures as you dance. Keep sharing. Thank you.

What music are you using? It's very pretty.

@Kyrubas - we used the recording of Scotch Cap on the cd "Strong Roots" by Bare Necessities. (It's volume 9 in their series of English Country Dance cds, all of which are excellent.)
