It's okay if you only like the first 151 (most of my favorites come from there) but you're going to piss people off if you say that everyone else must consider Chikorita and beyond inferior.

I'll give you simple for a lot of the first gen's Pokemon (as in lack of creativity), and a lot of the second gen's Pokemon that weren't evos of the old Pokemon look like they were done last minute (like Sunkern and Politoed).
I'm can't deny that a lot of the new Pokemon look weird, but most people seem to ignore the shit from the first two gens. And why does science fiction only apply to Gen 3+?

@GunCoppaz Need I remind you that the 1st gen introduced a living Pokeball? And half of them were original, though it is quite clear that they were reusing a lot of the old ones, like the Wurmple line being based on Caterpie and Weedle's. I don't see the point of complaining about "random lines", though.

Wow! It's amazing! Just look at how far Pokemon has gotten. I heard that it's going to stop after the 5th Generation... I am going to cry when it ends... Cuz Pokemon is something I grew up with and it will be upsetting to see it go away...
