I really like your video, intelligent and thought provoking. YOu even have some solutions in there. I went to mexico in the late 90's as a high school student. Spent about 2 weeks on the pacific side of the baja near Colinet. The poverty even in this idealic beachfront place is crushing. On the way there we ran into several checkpoints manned by 16 year old mexican soldiers. Its funny but nobody in the USA realizes that mexico is in a constant state of war with itself and its people

You don't have to concur with anything. The facts are in, Mexico is in a civil war. Just look online and watch the videos. Did you know that there are more beheadings in Mexico than any other country in the world? There are 60,000 Mexican Army troops on the border fighting. Be honest with yourself, Mexico is a really violent country and a great danger to the USA.

I like this video but disagree with our economy being dependant on the drug trade. I think it is a net loss. The reason is most of the money from American drug buyers goes to Mexican cartel in Mexico, not in the US. Another factor is the amount of money spent on enforcement. judicial, and penal services. If weed was made legal then we could grow it right here, tax it right here and use the tax money for good things instead of what the cartels spend it on. RPG's bribes, and living large

i call bullshit. i visited Mexico from Jan-Mar of 09. only the north is having major problems. most large cities have problems with crime (no brainer). Mexico is friendly, and safe. I was surprised at how friendly they were towards us "gringos". Philipines is much more racist.

I concour with the second part of your video ... but I must state ... Mexico IS NOT going towards a civil war .... Mexico is a stable country that happens to be the gateway to the largest market in the world (including the drug market) ... and we Mexicans AND AMERICANS must do whatever it takes to bring peace to all the region
