In cooperation with students from the University of Kassel, faculty of architecture - and the architects f-u-r, G.tecz produced a BetonBar - made of Quantz. It's a new cement bonded high-tech material, that is more than just concrete: high compressive strength, high flexural strength without fibres, extremly fluent with a high workability and absolutly cost-effective and sustainable.
The surface of the BetonBar is pigmented with black colour to give it a special optic and it's not coverd with an additional coating - it's the pure Quantz. The thickness of the BetonBar is only 1 cm.
