On day 28 we walked up about 700 steps to the East Cape lighthouse and were among the first people to see the sun. We also saw wild horses, lots of cows, the world's biggest Pōhutukawa tree and several movie locations.

Thanks again. Your videos make my day. I am falling in love with New Zealand. Wasn't the Lord of the Rings filmed there? But then again, I would be surprised if you came across a hobbit village in your travels.

@ulfilen Yes, that's right. Actually, I did think about visiting a Hobbit village - but it wasn't on our route. There's a Hobbit village in Matamata and they do tours of the movie set.
