On 22nd January 2011 I walked along the Thames beach as it was a very low tide (0.3m at 10:19). I was right in front of the MI6 building when one of the Duck Tour buses came down the slipway.

  • @SW1Q1 Yes - I was born in Clapham. The tide was VERY low. I was "on the strand", ie standing o the beach bit by the river's edge. It is amazing how low the rivr can get.

  • Are you a Londoner, then?

It is very obsevant of you to notice the very low tide.

It is a very low tide; how unusual !

    .

Any less water and ther'd be no duck boating just instead, wheels all the way.

    Cheers.
