this isnt as easy as it looks here! I tried it and it kept crashing :( now I'm stuck with 1.0 when I had 1.6 :(

Seems a lot of work to do I only wanted a Froyo update not a Cyanogen mod I only wanted to upgrade from 1.6 Doughnut to 2.1 Eclair or 2.2 Froyo if possible I think Eclair is best suitted for G1
