yeah i think thats longest a anime has  had a opening for 77 episodes now they switch 13 to 15 episodes.

Yay I love Rumiko Takahashi's work, it's very interesting that the manga started in late 70's. Old manga and anime are the best.

1. A 50th anniversery would mean that all those people including rumiko would be about 70 now

2. A another 50 years wouldnt be very old they'd be dust (not impossible though)

3. When the hell do you this this anime came out? the 30th anniversary was 2009.

I saw the 50th anniversary of Urusei Yatsura.... Too bad they can't, or rather they won't be able to hold a 100th anniversary since most of the staffs on the original crew would be old :( BUT Still I have my memories from my childhood :)
