First off, thanks for posting, second, im listening to that great tune as i type this. This is the story guys, MOTA is Spanish slang for weed. If you pay attention to 3:53, you'll hear a guy taking a deep breath, inhaling we know what, and then exclaiming... lo and behold...
ESTA ES LA MEJOR MOTA!!!
there my friends! crowe-head here in peru, 'd love to hear from you anytime

I beg to differ with windtested's comment. Apparently, you're not privy to their recent material. In addition, I would reccomend going to see them live while you have the chance. Still a great band and always will be.

@joseluischavez I really don't know... he says: esta es la mejor and then the last word is hard to hear... it can say also Esta es la mejor Bondad... I don't know, I'm not sure
-
@murrcom Esta es la mejor movida! which means this is the best roll! sorta...
-
He says something In Spanish (?) at the end of the studio version of this song. It sounds like "thats it" on this live version here
-
Chris Robinson its really atractive!
-
@murrcom "that's the best weed..." or "this is the best weed." i believe "mota" is more of a mexican dialect of latin/spanish language.

i think you are inventing the monologue. if you listen, he says "that's it", two words, not all the others that have appeared here. c'mon, what's the point?

He only says 'that's it' in English.
Again. what is your point?
Are you suggesting English is not the language of del Norte? WRONG:!!!!!English is the language here. Come here, learn our language, Then, you are always welcome!

I think he says "That's it" in English. In Espanol, I think he would say "Esta", but he didn't.
