Wisconsin Central GP40s 3011 and 3014 lead a southbound CN freight. First we see the train accelerating through the Perkins St. crossing in Appleton, then crossing Lake St. in Neenah. They eventually stopped the train in Neenah Yard and cut the power off.
We caught this train while driving from Green Bay back to Stoughton. Probably the first and last time I'll ever see a solid lashup of WC-painted units.
If you listen closely at the beginning (with headphones) you can hear another, distant train horn that is distinctly not an echo of the 3011's. Rats missed 'em!
Makes me miss being home

Nice catch Andy. This was right around the time when I started actually taking pictures of all the units while rail fanning.
