Bute pronounced Boo-tey. Anyways i thought that Bute showed alot of skills and alot of heart getting up, and deserves credit. Andrade showed alot of heart keeping the heat up, and amazing stamina. I don't think the ref was corrupt, and at the end that's what matters.

i dont think he was corrupt but clearly favored the hometown fighter and also he was did some unexperienced stuff in the ring

- Rule ten stipulates in the event of a knockdown a fighter can not be saved by the bell. i.e. The bell can't save him if down. Bute was up before the referee's count of ten (and in real time), and since the time elapsed, that's the only thing that was required of him. He didn't have to show that he could continue by walking forward. He didn't even have to show the gloves to the ref either, but was asked anyways. The time was up and the referee was aware of that, as he stated in the postfight.

honestly i dont think anyone's questioning that Bute won on points but what ppl are upset about is how bias the ref was through the whole bout thats something you cant ignore unless u too are a bias person

respect!!! good coments...the only point i want to make is...when the ref says brake, the boxers are supposed to take one step back...Andrade never did that...as long as he was always going forward i think the ref was correct in pushing him back.

Bute will never give Andrade a rematch, he wnats nothing to do with it. He knows Andrade fought this fight with one hand and he can imagine what would happen if he were actually whole.

I can´t believe this guy is admiring the fact that Bute was hugging, damn, I can´t believe a mexican says that. Mexicans don´t hug, only in extreme circumstances. It´s ok to hug a bit like Bute, since he was about to fall, but not to the point of admiring that!!!!! It´s better to lose like a man, than to win like a coward!!
