Ummm dude the F/SN anime wasnt really following Fate route, heavily but not completely, more like they mixed all the routes into one and made it somewhat follow the fate route. Since the anime was shit as not getting my hopes up for UBW which was really similar to Fate... They should have made Heaven's Feel as the movie. And its also scheluded to by ONLY 90mins.

It's mostly like Fate, with other parts mixed in. When referring to the anime and the visual novel, it's just easier to say that it's the Fate route, when it isn't the Fate route entirely. The main point of the anime was Shirou x Saber, which defines it as Fate instantly. In UBW, it will be Shirou x Rin, also defining that Route.

In HF, it's Shirou x Crazy Slutty Bitch. (No offense to Sakura fans, just don't like her that much)
