Are You Lonesome Tonight Elvis Presley Cover

I heard this great song today, and thought I should try it.. In my twisted mind, I thought the uke would work..So I tried it on guitar first.. Only Elvis can do that good enough though.. The uke gave it an intimacy that enabled my inferior vocal talent to sound acceptable, and I felt glad since I truly love this song and wanted to do it without embarrassing myself.. I hope I succeeded. If not, it sure wouldn't be the first time.. And it won't be the last..

I think LL was referring to his voice (which I agree is pretty wonderful) being inferior to Elvis's...which we all might have to agree with....cause, who can/could/will ever...sing like Elvis? Still...a great version and the uke was a very cool way to present it. Doing an Elvis song is kind of like trying to do a Roy Orbi son song,,,how are you gonna compete with voices like theirs?
