Journalist Harassed, arrested for recording MLPAI public meeting

At an April 20, 2010 public meeting of the MLPAI, a journalist was harassed, and ultimately arrested. accused of "disrupting" public meetings he was legally trying to record.

Privately funded facilitators ordered the banning of all recording at their official state funded California public meetings. The reporter was ultimately arrested after several attempts to continue to record. A private facilitator apparently ordered a California DF&G warden to make the illegal arrest.

The Marine Life Protection Act 'Initiative' and "I-Team" members face civil litigation for Civil Rights and B-K-O-M-A violations.

Willful violation of the Bagley-Keene Open Meetings Act is a misdemeanor.
